Here's a little about the city. It is a tropical climate on the northeast coast of Brazil, not getting colder than 78 degrees, with around 85 inches of rain yearly and 80 % humidity. It is the 3rd most populous city in Brazil with around 3 million people. The majority of the people are of African descent (this blond boy will stand out). The local cuisine is spicy and based on seafood. Jordan has NEVER taken to any seafood. I guess shrimp is a main ingredient and I hope he can learn to gag it down or ask for it super spicy so he doesn't have to taste or smell it :) It will be a huge adventure that is for sure.

This is so awesome. We are so proud of you and what a wonderful place to serve a mission; plus, you get to learn a foreign language! How cool is that! I'm really pumped for you.

You don't like sea food. What's the matter with you? I'm betting you're taste buds will mature while your there (he, he).

Hey congratulations to Jordan!!!
Julie do you think you can give me your emails because I'm going to make our blog private and I want you guys to be able to see our pictures and stuff. There are a lot of sickos out there and I don't want them to steal pictures or who knows what.
